More export seafood contracts signed
Mr.Tran Van Dung, General Director of Baria- Vungtau Seafood Processing and Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Baseafood) said that: Since the beginning of this year, Baseafood has exported 3,600 tons of kinds of products, ups 7% over the same period last year, export turnover reached USD 9.5 million.
According to assessment of processing seafood enterprises in the province, seafood export activity in the first 7 months has been favorable cause of prices rebounded. After economic crisis, many customers were back to Vietnam market to find new contracts. So, most of seafood export firms have signed contracts for whole year. However, besides to the advantages, these firms also have difficult due to scarity raw material and labours.
