First six months of 2010: PVC achieved VND3820 bil. of total revenue

On July 29, PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company (PVC) held a conference on the results of the first six-month implementation and the last six-month deployment of 2010’s missions.

In the first 6 months of this year, PVC completed in excess of the business and production targets, achieved an outstanding growth over the same period in 2009. Specifically, the output value reached more than VNd4443 billion, up 3 times compared with the same period in 2009, the total sales of VND3820 billion, increasing 2.6 times and profit of 577.32 billion, contributed VND178.41 billion to the State budget; average income of staff was more than VND7.1 million / capita / month. PVC took participation in 18 bidding packages of 11 projects and won the contracts of 14 packages, totaling VND4,509 billion; signed 63 economic contracts with a total value of VND3,743 billion. PVC revised and supplemented the regulation on economic contract management in conformity with practice, formed internal price unit of some works such as grading work for Nghi Son Refinery Complex, Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant ; signed the internal economic contract and addendum of some projects: Nhon Trach 2 Thermal Power Plant, Dinh Vu Polyester Fiber plant, Vung Ang Thermal Power Plant, Petroleum Cement Mill 12/9 … PVC had executed 39.04 / 52.59 billion of Vietnam dong on capital infrastructure investment and equipment procurement, capital investment contribution of VND2053 to external projects.

In the last six months of 2010, PVC content for total revenue of VND 4679, profit after tax of VND 327.81 billion, average income of employees to reach VND7.8 million/capita/month; ensure progress of key projects, complete proposed plans, innovate the enterprise; continue to implement programs of social security.
